Acts 5:42 <> And everyday, in the Temple and in their home Bible classes, they continued to teach and preach that Jesus is the Messiah.
Notes: Much of the early church's ministry took place in homes. Believers and seekers would gather to discuss the teachings of the written Scriptures and of the resurrected Christ. As the result, lives were touched, and the world was changed! This kind of impact is still possible. Throw open your doors to neighbors and friends and give a simple meal, a cup of coffee, a listening ear, a barbecue, a youth group meeting, a backyard Bible club, an invitation to come watch the big game, a small group Bible study, an evangelistic dinner party. Amazing things can (and do) happen when we ask God to make our homes lighthouses for the Kingdom!
